What's Left
Pop-up Site-specific Social Practice Public Art Olympia, WA.
“Found” consumer holiday ceramic molds were stacked as a fort protecting our memories and ideas of "home". In the center of the fort is a pit filled with fragments of broken molds. Passersby were asked to recall a childhood memory which was recorded and then played back over and over again losing it’s power to create emotion, yet at the same time it impressed the memory in our minds.
Themes: Loss/gain, memory, while questioning how we define home.
